Wedding invitation design on a small budget

JG Designers designed and helped find 5×7 pocket holders, paper and ribbon locally that they could assemble themselves. This fun couple’s wedding was country-themed on a ranch in northern Nevada with a barn dance reception. The “How to tie a knot” intro on the front of the pocket played on tying a lasso & the couple “tying the knot.”

Full concept, design and production for this couple that wanted something completely original to them. Printed comic book size and placed in colorful envelopes with vintage comic book hero stamps. Illustrations were drawn from actual photos of the couple, their dog and cat. Illustration by Mark Welser, Copywriting by Cindie Geddes.

Tangerine is northern Nevada’s original Aveda Lifestyle Salon. JG Designers was commissioned to design an energetic and strong logo for the salon and spa. The logo translated to their business cards, signage and website.

Reno Style promotes small local businesses by increasing awareness of specialized businesses, encouraging the public to shop local. This fun and retro business promotes their message through their popular vintage and used clothing store, Junkie Clothing Exchange, as well as their TV Show, Reno Style, which airs eight times a week featuring a local business each show. The logo also became the masthead for their magazine, Reno Style Magazine.

JG Designers was responsible for the creative direction, art direction, graphic design. and photo retouching for the entire campaign. Each ad featured a different doctor(s) who “Understand” the benefits of using Understand.com’s services and products. The campaign ran in industry publications throughout the US. Understand.com loved the campaign so much that they had each ad enlarged and framed for their main lobby.
